A challenge that a lot of bloggers face is choosing images for their post especially if their theme uses a feature image. Sal Ferrarello recommends new bloggers to not use featured images because choosing them often prevent people from publishing. Choosing or taking the perfect photo can be a challenge.
The great news is if you decide to use images, there are plenty of free photo sites. Below are a few of the sites I’ve used.
Free ways to edit Photos
- Gimp – Similar to photoshop
- Collage Maker – Combine multiple photos
- SnapSeed – Mobile app

I also find the image resizer at imageresize.org useful if I want to resize my photos or even compress them.
