Golf Swing Camera

Golf Swing Camera is an iPhone app for recording, comparing, and sharing golf swings.

It opens straight to the camera, watches for swing motion, saves each swing, and gives you slow-motion playback right away. No account required. Your library stays on your iPhone unless you turn on optional iCloud sync.

Compare Swings Side By Side

Pick any two swings and play them together in a split-screen review. The clips stay in sync even when they have different lengths. You can slow them down, pause, or scrub both videos to the same point in the swing.

Start a comparison from the review screen, or long-press clips in a practice session and select the two you want. It is much easier to spot a setup change, a different top position, or what moved through impact when both swings are on screen at once.

Record A Coach Review

Coach Review records your narration along with playback, pauses, and timed drawings. Send the finished walkthrough to a player, coach, or friend instead of trying to explain everything in a text message. Voice processing uses the iPhone’s built-in microphone to keep the narration clear.

Clean Up A Session Faster

Long-press a swing to start selecting clips. Choose two to compare them, or select several old swings and delete them together. That makes it easier to keep a long range session useful instead of letting the library pile up.

Review Swings On Desktop

If you already have a clip, try the free Golf Swing Analyzer on this site. It runs in your browser, keeps the video local, and lets you slow the swing down, draw lines, mark checkpoints, and export an annotated clip.

  • Compares two swings side by side with synchronized playback

  • Adds manual swing-position markers and drawing notes
  • Shows detected body points and suggested swing checkpoints
  • Selects multiple library clips for comparison or deletion
  • Optionally syncs your library through your private iCloud account
  • Imports existing swing videos from Photos

Built For Practice

The goal is to make recording less annoying. Set up the phone, step into view, and swing when ready. The app handles the capture flow so you can focus on the next rep instead of walking back to tap record every time.

On supported iPhones, the camera captures at up to 240 fps for a clearer look at fast motion. If the phone gets hot or the camera comes under pressure, the app reduces the frame rate so a long practice session can keep running.

Local First

Your swing videos are stored on your device by default. Golf Swing Camera does not require an account and does not send clips to my servers. If you enable library sync, your videos are stored in your private iCloud account, with a choice of Wi-Fi only or cellular and Wi-Fi transfers.
