I want to start this post by stating that my intentions in starting a blog was never to make money. I wanted a place to share projects and ideas to hopefully help others.
Well let’s get to the real reason you’re reading this post. My first blog post was a guide on how to control wireless outlets from your phone using a raspberry pi. This point leads me to my first piece of advice.

For the past 22 years my church has shown the Living Christmas Tree program to tell people the real meaning of Christmas. This year, Chris Nesbit and I built a Arduino Yun powered automated Christmas light system to power the lights on the Living Christmas Tree.
