Weather Extension
Weather Extension is a browser extension I built because I wanted a faster way to check the weather while working. Instead of opening a full weather site, you can keep the current temperature in your toolbar and open the extension for a quick hourly or multi-day forecast.

See what is coming in the 2026 update, including new icons, a Daily Planning Brief, custom toolbar colors, and optional weather summaries. You can also look back through the extension’s visual history.
What It Does
- Shows the current temperature directly in the browser toolbar
- Opens to a fast hourly and multi-day forecast
- Supports geolocation or manually selected locations
- Lets you switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius
- Includes options like forecast display settings, badge settings, and more
- Available for Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Edge
Weather Pro
Weather Pro unlocks additional features such as multiple saved locations, weather alerts, and other premium settings. It also offers additional weather sources in Settings. Coverage varies by region, so another source may work better for your location.
You can also get Pro free by sharing Weather. For an earlier purchase, use the restore-Pro guide.
Support
The Weather Help Center has screenshots and simple examples for locations, settings, alerts, radar, and Pro. If you need a hand, email [email protected] with a short description of the problem.
